Fike’s Fire Alarm Bells, manufactured by Gentex Corporation, provide durable and dependable operation required for life safety alarm systems. Alarm bells are low current, high decibel notification appliances for use in fire and burglary systems or other important signaling applications. The Fire Alarm Bells are available in 24VDC or lZOVAC, 6″ or 10″ housing and are can be used for indoor or outdoor applications. When used outdoors, Fike’s Back Box (P/ N 20423-125) is also required.
Fike Clean Agent Containers are used in fi re extinguishing systems to store the Clean Agent until a fi re develops and the agent must be released. The Clean Agent is retained in the container by a Impulse Valve assembly which contains a fast-acting rupture disc. The disc will be ruptured, and the Clean Agent released, through the operation of an actuator by an electric signal that is automatically, manually or pneumatically controlled. Fike Clean Agent Containers have passed extensive testing by Factory Mutual and Underwriters Laboratory and are used in installations where 3 to 1045 pounds (2.0 to 474 kg) of HFC-227ea agent is required. Clean Agent containers can be fi lled in 1 pound (0.5 kg) increments to their maximum capacity.
